The Winner of the Best Picture Poll is . . .

Our most recent poll asked "Who do you HOPE will take home the Oscar for Best Picture at the 2014 Oscars?" 75% of the vote went to The Wolf of Wall Street12 Years a Slave took 25% of the vote, which is interesting, since there are nine total nominated films.  Out of the nine films nominated, only those two were voted on.  Hmmmm.

The odds-on favorite to win appears to be the independent film 12 Years a Slave, and man-oh-man was this film a really big winner at the March 1st Film Independent Spirit Awards (held yesterday), winning a total of five awards, including best feature film, best director, best supporting female, best screenplay and best cinematography.

I am still holding out hope that The Wolf of Wall Street will take home the golden statue for Best Picture at the Academy Awards show, but if not, then I would be happy if American Hustle, 12 Years a Slave or Dallas Buyers Club won, since all were great films and deserving of recognition.

Join me tomorrow beginning at 1:45 p.m. EST for live tweeting from the red carpet at the Oscars.  Don't miss a single fashion moment.  You can follow me @filmfashionista and make sure you won't miss anything.  I will continue to tweet (some) throughout the show.  It is the BEST day of the year for the fashion/film combo - so get ready!

I like 12 Years to win (rather than American Hustle) lol.

I'm also crossing my fingers for Leo to win, but if not. Then hopefully it's Bruce Dern, or Chiwetel
